DAY 1

Arrival to Cairo + Egyptian Musuem + NMEC + Check-in

Egyptours’ tour leader will be expecting you inside Cairo International Airport to help you with the arrival procedures and take you by a private vehicle to begin your wonderful Egypt tour. starting with a City tour to visit the Egyptian Museum. Accompanied by our expert guide, you will be enlightened on the most prominent and exquisite pieces displayed in the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the dazzling golden treasures of the pharaoh Tutankhamen. This experience promises to be nothing short of captivating and unforgettable.

From there we have to visit NMEC (The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization) which is the first museum in the Arab world focusing on the earliest civilization in history, it exhibits several objects intended to educate the visitor about the Egyptian civilization across various key historical phases, showing the interaction of Egyptian people with their land and rulers.

Then our guide will accompany you to have your Lunch in one of the local restaurants then move to check in to the Cairo hotel.

DAY 2

Giza Pyramids + Saqqara + Memphis

You will start your beautiful day by having a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. Commence your tour with the esteemed guidance of a proficient Egyptologist from Egyptours, who will lead you during your Giza pyramids tour As you start your journey, you will be accompanied to a series of stops in Giza, starting with the magnificent Great Pyramid of King Cheops. This awe-inspiring structure is the sole surviving wonder of the ancient world, constructed over thirty years during the 4th dynasty of the old kingdom, some 4500 years ago, as a testament to its durability. You will also visit the Pyramids of Egypt’s revered kings Chephren and Mycerinus, you will be amazed by the greatness of the marvelous structures.

We shouldn’t miss the opportunity to witness the magnificence of the Sphinx and the valley temple of Kafre which belonged to the illustrious King Chephren, the Great Sphinx’s owner and the builder of the second pyramid, following in his father Khufu’s footsteps. However, before beholding this marvel, we shall ascend the high plateau, affording us an exquisite opportunity to experience camel riding in the Giza Pyramids (an Optional activity) and capture some mesmerizing snapshots with the guidance of our expert.

You will also visit Saqqara necropolis, where the Pharaohs of Egypt established their kingdoms, accompanied by your driver and guide, you will explore the step pyramid complex of King Djoser and other majestic royal pyramids.

Additionally, you will marvel at the vividly painted and inscribed tombs of nobles, depicting daily life scenes.

As a delightful preamble to our visit to Memphis, we shall indulge in a sumptuous luncheon at a refined oriental eatery. Then, we shall venture forth to the renowned Memphis museum, where we shall marvel at the colossal alabaster sphinx and the majestic statue of Ramses II, along with an array of artifacts discovered nearby.

DAY 3

Citadel + Old Cairo

Enjoy a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Cairo before the beginning of the journey to the Citadel of Saladin, where you will be enchanted by the captivating Mohamed Ali Mosque and an array of breathtaking Islamic architectural wonders. From the pinnacle of the citadel, you will be mesmerized by a panoramic vista of numerous domes, minarets, and mosques adorning the azure heavens.

Then, we will start our Coptic Cairo tour by visiting the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon and The Hanging Church, raised above 2 towers of the old fort. You will then see The Church of Abu Serga and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Enjoy your lunch in a good quality Egyptian cuisine restaurant. Then, we will complete our Islamic Cairo Trips to see the most famous mosques built during the Islamic era and see Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar then back to the hotel.
